Fall Break is wrapping up, and flu season is just around the corner! We're hosting flu shot clinics for students with signed parent forms and staff who preregistered. If you've decided to not get the shot, email Amy Richardson at richardsona1@gcssd.org by 8:00 AM on Tuesday, October 14th with the subject No Flu Shot and your child’s name. Clinics will be held at SGC schools on Tuesday 10/14 and other district schools on Wednesday 10/15.

Gibson County Special School District Flu Shot Clinic

This week’s #GibsonCountyKind is all about spreading joy through laughter and positivity! We invite you to share a funny joke to brighten someone’s day. It also features a beautiful quote from Maya Angelou about being a rainbow in someone else's cloud. We love how laughter can uplift both our minds and bodies! So, let’s ponder together: is kindness a feeling or an action? 😊

The Gibson County Special School District is required to complete a TISA Accountability Report, which details how the district uses TISA funds to achieve specific goals for student achievement.

The TISA Accountability Report promotes efforts for school improvement. By providing feedback on academic performance, school climate, and student support services, parents help ensure transparency and guide data-driven decisions. Their input enables educators and administrators to identify strengths and areas for growth, fostering a more responsive and inclusive learning environment. This collaborative process strengthens the partnership between families and schools, ultimately benefiting student success.
